I have previously used the Taylormade R7 and the Callaway FT-i (among others) and would hit a big fade/slice with both. With this club I am long and straight consistently with off center hits still going up to 250 yards. The club has a very nice weight to it and a good balanced feel. Best driver I have ever hit

This club is long off the tee when you hit it on the screws (as long or maybe a bit longer than my old BB 454 Titanium). But the huge difference is when you miss the sweet spot. The MOI/resistance to twisting isn't a lie. Toe it with a slice swing, and this club is just off the fairway instead of deep in the trees. Note: you lose considerable distance on mishits, but what you lose in yardage you more than make up for in accuracy.

I played with all the Callaway driver and this is the best! I went from FT-3 (Aldla NVS-55 Stiff 9 degree draw) which I loved due to ease of use and distance but the FT-5 (Aldla NVS-65 Stiff 9 degree draw) is even easier to use and its longer by at least 10 yards! I avg 250 yard with FT-3 all carry and now its 260 yrs plus with FT-5. Buy this driver, its long and straight!

I love the feel and set up of this driver. This driver has helped me to eliminate the dreaded slice from the tee box. I bought the draw version and while I rarely hit a draw with it, I at least hit it straight. The sound of the ball off the club takes some getting use to but distance off the tee has improved about 15 yards.

[...] I found the condition of this 'used' golf club to be well above the 'average' rating it was given. But best of all, it works just as advertised ... I'm hitting longer straighter drives more consistently than ever before. Pounding balls well past the 250 yard marker on the driving range is almost as much fun as hitting balls within short pitching wedge range on par 4's. Lovin' it!

I played the FT-3 Tour for a long time until at a social outing I tried a friends FT-5, one hit was all it took, I had an FT-5 Tour ordered from this site within 48hrs!
The FT-5 is instantly much more forgiving and launches higher, this higher ball flight provides more distance and the superb forgiveness provides much greater accuracy.
I have tried most of the other 'Big Dawgs' in the market today and I have yet to find anything which compares to the overall performance of the FT-5.

This is the first driver I have been able to hit and actually keep it in play! I tend to have a slice shot and worked it into a fade with my smaller clubs, but I could never hit the Driver. It always sliced way off course, sometimes off the golf course all together! This club is forgiving enough that not only do I keep it on the course but I even hit the fairways a large portion of the time (and that really is saying a lot!). Thanks for the great club at the AWESOME price!

After a shoulder injury, my swing was totally overhauled to a smooth, slower tempo (95 mph). Everyone was outdriving me, so I scoured the internet looking for non-conforming drivers to help me keep up with my 4-some. I hit them all, spent hundreds upgrading shafts and buying and selling on the net. I finally just decided to try the FT-5 draw.........AND I'LL NEVER EVER SELL IT. My search is over. It's like hitting the golf lottery.

I purchased mine used from the Callaway Preowned Store. Because I'm a lefty, my choices were limited. I have suffered with a SLICE for years with no cure to be found,........and so I took a chance on a STIFF SHAFT DRAW SETUP.....It was only available with an 11 degree head. Well let me tell you that my chance paid off in spades.
No more slice(a rare push yes)and the distance is better than my 10 degree former FT-1 driver...........
I love the look and the feel is just plain WOW!!!!!

I used to play with a FT3 regular Shaft with Draw Bias. My wife gave my this FT5 club with neutral bias and stiff flex as a Birthday present.

I have to agree that although the FT3 hits long, the FT5, makes easier to hit long shots of the Tee with a crispier sound. I totally recommend this club for any golfer; worth the investment.

Callawaypreowned is a great service if you do not want to expend the big dough as you would on a regular retailer.

took it out for the first time and instead of having a long 6 iron in on my most hated par 4 it was an easy 8 iron for GIR

Others in my usual group took notice, all tried mine (thanks for the sky mark E...) and all bought one. Don't know how to better recommend a product

Just received my FT5 10 deg. with nuetral weighting today. After 1 bucket of balls I'm in love (I hit another after that for the fun of it). Went from a power fade with my old driver to a dead straight bomb and even a few slight draws. The sound is unique but I don't mind it and it did turn some heads at the range. Forgiveness is great. The few hits I had on the heel over-reaching were still long and straight.

The clubhead is light and set up nicely at address. The regular shaft works well for someone like me who has a swing speed under 100. Get out there and crush it!

I absolutely love this club. It has increased the yardage on most of my drives and has helped me shave some strokes off my game. I would definitely recommend this club to any lady golfer who is wanting to accomplish longer drives off the tee. Good luck all in your game.

I love my FT-5 neutral driver the best driver that I have ever owned. This driver is so good that I bought one for my oldest son and hits his FT-5 40 yards further than my drives but he is 20 years younger than me. But sometimes I stay equal with him. Would recommend this club to everybody who is looking for more distance and accuracy.
