I just got this club today and just got back from the driving range. It didn't take long to figure out the right way to hit this club and I can say that I'm satisfied with it. I was looking for a smaller size than the 460cc, I just couldn't hit a big head very well so I researched callway preowned for an older smaller sized driver. From all the reviews I read and researching the spec's for this club, I decided to buy it and for now I am not disappointed. With this club I'm getting good distance and hitting a lot straighter. I highly recommend this club for beginning/advancing players. If you have refined your swing this club will not disappoint.
It sounds good too, not like those deafening hollow sounding drivers. Great club!

I can't begin to tell you how fantastic this driver is! As a beginner golfer, I purchased the Great Big Bertha II driver after using Callaway's GES (Game Enjoyment System) clubs for women. I like the large face of the club and the increased distance that I have gained off of the tee. This driver has a nice sound, especially when I hit the ball in the sweet spot! So far, I have not found any flaws with this club and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take their game to the next level!

I have more consistancy off the tee than I have had with any other club I have used. Not only is it usually in the middle of the fairway but I have added another 10-15 yards.

I bought this driver as an upgrade, as I was using a driver that was older than I am. So far, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I try not to put a whole lot of weight on my improved game play on the club itself, but so far my drives are straighter and further than ever before. Even my slices aren't as bad as they were before.

Absolutley one of Callaway's best drivers ever. Low cost, older technology but super long. Irritates my golf buddies who have paid [$] when I fly one past them. On my second shaft snapped one on the range. Callaway fixed it. I don't carry a 3 wood.

The 385cc is a little too small, I would upgrade to the 415cc for a little boost. Otherwise a great driver

By sjohnson234 from Undisclosed on 3/31/2006

I really like the feel and control I have with the new driver. I usually slice the ball off the tee. However with this club I seem to have better control and I'm able to hit the ball straighter off the tee

By clujan1 from Undisclosed on 3/31/2006

This driver is an excellent value. It has helped me to produce longer and straighter drives and has all but taken my slice out of play. I didn't like oversize drivers but this one is very easy to hit and has made my game more enjoyable.

By recnef from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

I was looking for a new driver. I had tried some of the Taylor Made and Cobra clubs and didn't get a good feel at the place I was going to buy them. Plus the size of the 440 and 460 heads just seemed too big. The ability to buy a pre-owned club at a greatly reduced rate and have the ability to go out and hit it on the course was great. For the club itself, because it was a 386 it didn't feel like I was swining a boat at the end of the club. It has a great feel and balance and was easy to hit. The firt shot I hit was great and kep that way as I kept playing

By jv4studio from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

This is by far the best driver that I have hit. Not only has it added about 30 yards to my driving distance, it has also given me almost complete control over where I want the ball to go (fade, straight & draw). Even on off center hits, the ball stays on line and loses very little distance. If you are looking for a driver that will help you find the center of the fairway where few players go, this is the one. Thanks Callaway for making a driver that, consistantly, lets me hit an approach shot from the center of the fairway.

By beckstjt from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

This was my first large head driver, upgrading from a Dunlop driver that came with my set. It took some getting used to but once I slowed my swing down a little it solved my hook and acurracy increased dramatically.

By emurphy from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

This driver has provided me with a more consistent ability to hit fariways. Additionally it provides me with enough confidence to "go after" some drives. In this way it provides me with the ability to squezze out a few extra yards when neccessary. I have been pleasantly surprised at the "workability" it also provides.

By wayne.hargett from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

I used a Taylor Made Titanium driver before I purchased the Big Bertha II and I don't carry the Taylor Made in my bag now. The BB II has a better feel and sound. The BB II added about 10-15 yards to my drive and I have better ball control off the tee.

By jlmendoza9112 from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

This is the one of greatest drivers I have played and still carry it in my bag. I have tried many drivers including the Ping G2 and G5, Taylomade R-7, Hogan Big Ben, a couple of Nikes, but I always go back to my Big Bertha.

By etw13 from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

Could not be happier. Hit two drives today of 300 yards, which is 25 over my normal best drives. Love the look and feel. Has none of the "shoebox" feel of the oversized drivers out there.

By cg_hiett from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

Club was in great condition (A Spanish Hill rental club that looked like it hadn't been hit at all) but something about the perfromance I don't really like....I think it's stems from it's faulty operator who tends to slice more than veg-o-matic.

By christopher.davis from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

This driver has a great feel to it. The larger club face and good balance allows even the novice to hit great golf shots off the box. When I got this club I was a 15 handicap and in one year I have dropped down to a consistent 9. This is a great buy!

Moving from a steel head ...
By justin.welter from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

Moving from a steel head driver to the titanium took some adjustment. I still like the feel of a heavier driver and this club is extremely light. Goes a mile when hit off the top rail, but at 8.5 degrees, anything below the center of the clubface tends to squirt down the fairway.

By byron.kaelin from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

I am a beginning golfer that usually does not have a great deal of practice/golf time. This clud has help considerably because the larger club head is more forgiving than my previous driver and has considerably cut down on the amount of drives that a hooked or sliced.

By nash from Undisclosed on 3/30/2006

I purchased the 8.5 degree GBB II Pro Series driver. Very nice looking club - I like the moderate size and shape of the clubhead. I prefer this to the oversized clubheads on the market.

Both this club and the Fusion drivers are fantastic. I find the ball really jumping off the face and they both give me the ball flight I like.
